Sewer Break Policy

1. When reporting a sewer break, phone either Maintenance Personnel, one of the Councillors or the Village Office.
2. Either the maintenance personnel or the administrator will phone “call before you dig” to locate lines.
3. Once lines are located the maintenance personnel and whoever council hires to help will dig up the sewer break and repair the damage as soon as possible;
4. If break is on Village property, Village will pay and if the break is on the home owner’s property, then the cost will be borne by the homeowner.
